Nothingness and brokenness

Have you ever felt as if everything in your life was broken and you could not fix it? This is totally how I feel right now. My life is lacking action and unpredictable things and I am tired of that. My computer has become a piece of junk. And I guess I feel blasé, and I guess I feel...sad, unable to grasp reality and take the bull by the horn and take action. I don't even know what to do with that blog...It seems to go nowhere...just like some weird movies with Swedish subtitles.

Desperate single girl

I loathe Valentine's day. Not only because it is a huge commercial scam but because that amidst all that scamness you still feel miserable that your singleness is been thrown right in you face on Valentine's day. All night Yesterday, I was trying not to cry and not screaming when hearing a love song( Mes Aïeux's La Grande Tornade). I wanted to watch Alien but forgot about it...I finally watch Maybe Baby because nothing is better than to see a couple drifting apart due to their countless attempt to conceive a wittle one. I am so desperate that I smiled when I saw somebody calling me love on a forum.

Sometimes I would like to pull a "Harry Starks" on Valentine's Day and poke it with a white hot poker...like that he would go scream to his mommy and stop annoying me with cupids, red heart and unhibited declarations of love.

The skinny on dieting.

Sometimes I feel as though people are unsatisfied with what they have no matter how great and wonderful what they have is. One of my friend, let's call her Paloma, is a beautiful and slender girl. Still, she is virtually on a diet 52 days a week. Does she have a serious case of body dysmorphia (sp?) or is she just blind and is not able to see how lovely she is?! I hate the fact that she is writing down what she is eating and counting every calories she ingurged when she clearly does not need it. I think that she should stop complaining and stop living.

On the other hand, one of my friend at work wants to gain weight, she thinks she is too skinny. Yeup yeup yeup, some people clearly are unsatisfied with what they have.

Look ma, no pants...only leggings

I saw pictures of Jennifer Hudson singing at the Superbowl. And while, for me, she was looking beautiful and gorgeous, some people decided to pinpoint what seems to be a huge no no in fatshion ( plus size fashion): wearing leggings as pants. I have to admit, when I was 12, leggings were an important part of my style. I had them in every color and wore them almost everyday. And now they have come back in my wardrobe with a vengeance. I always thought that my best body part are my legs and leggings skimmed them and even make it look as if I actually have a butt. So yes I wear leggings as pants, I wear them as tights as well. I don't see why a size 12 girl like J-Hud and a size 18 like me couldn't wear leggings as pants...just like size 00 Lindsay Lohan does.

"Beauty is a cruel mistress..." well actually, I would say that beauty is a pretty distorted thing. I found this picture of Dawn French while scrolling the net...While it looks like a picture from a "How to look good naked celebrity special", I just like the fact that she is comfortable with herself.

I decided to change my blog because I was not comfortable with what I was writing. I decided to put a bigger emphasis on me, my life, my fat acceptance, my tantrums and all. I think that I will probably never be Bridget Jones ( because I am Actually fat) but still it will be like my diary.

And by the way, all the names ( except mine will be changed...if I really need to change names)
